Cobertura Wave Gotik Treffen 2011:Dia 5

El 5to dia fue un dia en el que lamentablemente me tenia que despedir de la ciudad de Leipzig.Debia preparar mi equipaje para mi próximo destino:Berlin (en el cual tuve el que fue quizás mi momento mas iluminado.Solo tenia en plan disfrutar de una sola banda (legendaria como imaginaran) Pero la tarde (y luego la noche) me depararían algunas sorpresas.
Luego de el ultimo paseo por el Agra (ultimas compras y despedida emocionante) me diriji (con algunos problemas hacia el parkbrhune) el único escenario al aire libre que visitaría.Lamentablemente llegue tarde para ver a los exelentes The Beauty of gemina (sin embargo no me prive de entrevistar a su cantante Michael Sele) A continuación se presento Tying tiffani.Al principio apareció encapuchada El primer comentario fue..NOS VAMOS A QUEDAR SORDOS…pero luego se acento el sonido y esta bella,simpatica y talentosa artista nos hizo bailar como pocos!!! Con temas como show me what you got….o i cant do it…
Pero el plato fuerte de la tarde/noche llegaria de la mano de Mephisto Walz…Primeramente tengo que confesar que tenia un poco de miedo que la nueva cantante Sara Reid no pudiera calzarse los zapatos dela legendaria Christianna.Pero para sorpresa de los ahi presents supero la `prueba y con creces….POR DIOS QUE PERFORMANCE..QUE SET!!!
Arrancarion con Mephisto Walz y luego fueron mezclando temas de su mas reciente producción 3rd incarnation junto a clásicos del calibre de I wanna be your dog (me parece que me moje los pantalones) The twilight garden y….POR FIN!!! PAINTED BLACK!!!!
Sara es hermosa..increible performer con mucha actitud junto a un Barry Galvin (único miembro original) virtuoso y expresivo…El set se completo con temas como drowning like the garden y la esperadísima Alle in Asche (buen trabajo Sara cantando en alemán)
Por lo que pude ver en videos para comparar con Christianna Sara tiene algo que esta ultima no tenia….ROCK!!!
BROCHE DE ORO PARA ESTE 20 WAVE GOTIK TREFFEN!! EL SUEÑO DE MI VIDA….…5 DIAS PLAGADOS DE EMOCIONES…CONOCI MUCHOS MUSICOS EXELENTES,HICE NUEVOS AMIGOS..REALIZE UN TRABAJO QUE HOY PUEDO PRESENTAR…

Cobertura Wave Gotik Treffen 2011:Dia 4

Otro dia entero en el Agrahalle..un dia de gothic rock/metal pero con algunas decepciones(¿)
En primer lugar se presento Temple of twilight banda que debutaba en este wgt 2011 con un estilo gothic rock/metal que si bien no gozaron de un muy buen sonido ni de mucha concurrencia se supieron ganar al publico a fuerza de humildad..VEO UN FUTURO PROMINENTE A ESTA BANDA…Interpretaron temas de su ultima producción titulada redemption y realizaron un exelente cover de New ORDER DEL TEMA TRUE FAITH
En segundo lugar se preento Ulterior banda esperadísima por muchos músicos ingleses ahí presentes y por muchos de los concurrentes al show de cinema strange/damned del dia anterior..Esta era una banda que de estudio no me había convencido y terminaron por desilusionarme con su show en vivo.
Para empezar su cantante estaba vestido como si recién se levantara de una resaca.No pido que una banda se vista muy sobrecargado pero me parece una falta de respeto hacia el publico la dejadez…
El sonido…..LAS MAQUINAS SATURADAS..LAGUITARRA BRILLABA POR SU AUSENCIA (EL PUBLICO QUE ERA ESCASO EMPEZO A RETIRARSE AL VER LO QUE STABA SUCEDIENDO) Y LA VOZ…..MUY SOBRECARGADA DE EFECTOS….OLVIDABLE!!!
A continuiacion se presento otra banda con la cual yo tenia mucha expectativa….LOS LEGENDARIOS NOSFERATU!!!! AY AY AY UNA VERDADERA LASTIMA!!! Tuvieron problemas con el sonido desde el arranque y cuando iban a culminar su set los tuvieron que cortar debido al atraso.
Interpretaron mayotitariamente temas e su ultima produccio titulada Wonderland (Ballad,Bombers) y no recuerdo algún clásico….Iban a hacer 2 temas mas (según me comentaba Louis luego) DARK ANGEL Y WICCAMAN!!!!
Luego me retire a dar un paseo por el predio del agra para superar estos malos tragos.Aclaro que no le hecho la culpa a nadie ni tampoco busque responsables..solo doy mi opinión..
Me perdi (lamentablemente) la actuación de los alemanes y esperadismos Megahertz y llegue tarde para Killing Joke (muchos diran imperdonable) debido a que existía la posibilidad (que obviamente no se daría) de entrevistar a Carl Mcoy…ALGUN DIA!!
Y ya que lo nombramos la ultima banda y la mas esperada por mi..AL FIN SE PRESENTO!!!!! DAMAS Y CABALLEROS!!!!! FIELDS OF THE NEPHILIM!!!!!! Debo aclarar que a pesar de ser otro sueño hecho realidad (dudo mucho que bajen a estas tierras….NO FUE EL MEJOR SHOW DEL FESTIVAL COMO CREIA DESDE QUE ME ENTERE QUE IBAN A SER HEADLINERS…
Arrancaron su show con mucho humo,el rostro de Carl casi no se veía (motivo que enojo a todos los fotógrafos acreditados) y con temas pertenecientes a su ultima producción (Morning sun) El tercer tema fue mi favorito (y de muchos de ustedes) MOONCHILD y de ahí en mas le siguieron muchos clásicos (como for her light,watchmen,psychonaut cult y love under will) PARA FINALIZAR con un bis con el tema last exit for lost…Sonido perfecto..la voz de Carl es muy particular (bastante diferente a los discos) pero…..NO TOCARON NI CHGORD OF SOULS NI….PREACHER MAN!!!!! MY GODD!!! MALA COSTUMBRE SE AGARRARON LOS MUSICOS DE LA MOVIDA DE NO TOCAR SUS MEGAHITS (REMEMBER PETER MURPHY NO TOCO CUTS YOU UP EN SU SHOW DEL 2009 AQUÍ) Muchos músicos ingleses me decían que desde que no esta su bajista original ya no suenan igualll….pero para mi fue un show (sacando la omison) SOÑADO!! ME TENIAN QUE VER POSEIDO CON LAST EXIT FOR LOST EN COMPLICIDAD CON UN ALEMAN MUY BUENA ONDA DEL PUBLICO!!!!
